Newark Beth Israel Medical Center treats more patients with sickle cell anemia than any other hospital in New Jersey. Through the adult sickle cell program at The Frederick B. Cohen Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, and our pediatric sickle cell program at the Valerie Fund Treatment Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, the patients receive world-class care in a state-of-the-art facility where specialists provide ongoing disease management, acute care, as well as preventive therapies and support. With pediatric and adult programs in place, our patients receive a lifetime of care from experts in sickle cell disease, close to home.
