Advancing Sickle Cell Advocacy Project (ASAP) is a nonprofit organization composed of sickle cell warriors, sickle cell trait carriers, caregivers and those who have a passion to see a change within the sickle cell community. Believe it or not this organization started all from a phone conversation which led to us as individuals uniting to make a much needed change in the South Florida Sickle Cell Community.

We are dedicated to breaking the stigma associated with SCD, to invoke a change in treatment in the healthcare community, and safer pain management procedures for patients not only here in South Florida, but around the United States. We want to educate patients and their families on healthier lifestyles that could possibly cut down on their hospital visits. ASAP desires to see patients live longer and more pain free lives by maintaining good health emotionally, mentally, and physically.
