Trusted Resources: People & Places
Healthcare providers, researchers, and advocates
Hope for SCD strives to bridge the gap between medical providers, stakeholders and patients through clear and concise educational materials. They work with both Adult Learners and traditional age learners through online, print and in person educational venues. Their goal is to help educate everyone about Sickle Cell Disease, not just those affected by it. The more people they educate, the more exposure Sickle Cell Disease will receive. Their hope is that this will equate into more funding for research, education and outreach for the organizations and hospitals that are already trying to break the Sickle Cycle.
