Sickle Cell Care Manchester is a charitable organisation run by people whose lives have been affected by Sickle Cell Disease for people living with Sickle Cell Disease and their families. Their focus is to enable everyone affected by Sickle Cell Disease to live life to their full potential and secure the care and support they need, until we ultimately find a cure.
Sickle Cell Care Manchester will strive to support people diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), their families and carers, in order to empower affected individuals and to enhance their quality of life. Sickle Cell Care Manchester also works to improve awareness of SCD, not only in the communities most at risk of the condition, but also more widely, to improve knowledge and understanding of SCD, and to foster acceptance of those living with the condition.
